Okay, so I downloaded to new Bloodline update, but just couldn't seem to run the game, as I got this error (Sorry if the images are big!  ):  Even when I tried clicking "Run as Administrator", I got the same error every time. So then I ran a troubleshooting thing, and got this:  Could it be that Bloodline doesn't work with Windows 8? I swear it worked before the update came out.... What's going on here? |

I can't. I always get the error before I can even get to that part.

Hm, ok so that's not the problem. Have you tried running it in compatibility mode?
Right click on the game and click 'Properties'. Go to the 'Compatibility' bar and check the box next to 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' .
And choose whichever of them is your computer.

I never thought of that. I'll go ahead and try it! I'll edit this post if it works.
EDIT: Okay, I tried that, but it doesn't have my version of Windows on any of the options.

Ok, well at least try some / all of them. You could fool the game into thinking it's running on that version of windows by changing that anyway.
Other than that I'm afraid I can't help you on this one, I've never seen such an error for an IT game before. Hope someone can help this get fixed ;-;

Have you tried reinstalling? I've never seen an error like this before, but by the looks of the error and it's terms of "Zip archive" or something, try extracting the files then running the application.

ahem.
I think I know your problem.
OgreCore.zip.
In the Resources.cfg, it should say something with "OgreCore.zip".
It's a Resource error.
Is this on the new update? If Yes, I will be downloading it shortly, and if I get the error I will fix it. :3

I've never seen an error like this before, but by the looks of the error and it's terms of "Zip archive" or something, try extracting the files then running the application. I haven't re-installed it yet, but before I uninstalled Bloodline due to this, I did extract the files. I always extract the files before I play anything. |
