Bloodline episode 1
Akari and Kage are two wolf sisters. They used to live with their family: mom, Lightpaw, dad, Nikumu, brother, San and other brother, Conner, but as they grew, they changed, growing farther apart. Kage became resentful of Akari because of how much humans loved her, but rejected Kage, they feared Kage because of her dark looks. This is where the story begins…
Akari woke up from her well rest she stretched her front paws out as far as she could, she felt the warm morning sun warm her fur as she came out of her stretch and looked around, she Kage still asleep, Lightpaw and Nikumu asleep cuddled together and her two little brothers cuddled up near them, Akari went down to the river and splashed around in it for a while, by the time she was done, her fur was soak and wet, she got out and shook not noticing Kage standing in front of her “What are you up to now?” said Kage. “I’m taking a bath, is that a problem?” Akari replied being smart. Kage smirked and walked away. Akari ran up to the fence seeing two human kids, the kids pet Akari. Kage looked over watching Akari, San, the three-legged brother hopped over to Kage “Hi sissy” he said nuzzling her fur “hi San” she said watching Akari still she then got up, san fell not expecting Kage to get up, Kage walked to the humans trying to act friendly so they would pet her to, but the humans saw Kage as a demon, with her black pelt and red markings. Akari looked at Kage, being her cheerful self she tried to cheer Kage up “don’t worry Kage, they just don’t see you’re a nice wolf” said Akari. Kage turned around and walked to the den, Akari day in and day out continued to see the human kids, making Kage more and more jealous and angry, one night when everyone was fast asleep, Kage snuck off into the night she walked alongside the river, the night wind ruffled her fur, her ears twitched to sounds but none catching her full attention. A few hours passed and Kage sat down to rest when she looked up she saw an abandon building, one of those buildings out in the middle of nowhere. A wolf stepped out, she had blue markings, a crescent moon on her shoulder and was black with blue eyes “What are you doing here stranger?” the wolf asked “I’m running away from my family” Kage answered. The wolf looked at Kage “you’re at the fighting clubs” said the wolf Kage’s ear twitched, “tell me about these fighting clubs.” Said Kage sounding interested. “This is where you find out what you are made of, while we try to prevent killing, it doesn’t always work, some wolves have died in fight here, there are no rules, you are on a team, and each wolf has a partner.” Answered the wolf. “How would I join?” asked Kage “You would have to beat, a Dire wolf.” She answered, Kage tilted her head, “What’s a dire wolf?” asked Kage. “ A dire wolf is a prehistoric wolf, a lot bigger then you and I, one of them alone can take down a mammoth.” Answered the wolf, the sound of how tough the Dire wolf sounded didn’t phase Kage and she narrowed her eyes and said “bring on this dire wolf” the wolf with the blue markings smiled at Kage. “Follow me, oh and my name is Yozaro” The wolf said before leading Kage inside. Kage fallowed Yozaro. Yozaro lead her into the Dire Wolf, a huge wolf a lot bigger then Kage herself, Kage stepped in front of the dire wolf, she didn’t let the fear of the scary looking wolf bring her down, Yozaro rung the start bell and the dire wolf lunged at her. Kage dodged and rolled she stood up and jumped on the wolves back biting into his neck the Dire wolf bucked like a horse and threw Kage off, Kage fell but ripped part of the dire wolf's neck. She ran into a wall, but stood up and shook it off. The dire wolf growled and lunged at Kage again. Kage lunged at the same time and went for his neck, but the dire wolf got her first, she was caught in his mouth Kage clawed at the Dire wolf, but she didn’t injure him or get loose so she wiggled and struggled and slipped out of his grip Kage grabbed the wolf's leg and bit his leg and twisted it making him fall, and he didn’t get up, declaring that Kage had won the fight. Kage jumped off the ring. "Impressive, Kage" said Yozaro. Yozaro lifted her head and howled, as a crescent moon mark appeared on Kage’s shoulder. "You’re a member now Kage" said Yozaro and took her to where they stay and showed her around, they had beds they made out of human clothes or leaves, Kage went out collecting leaves for her bed after this, she plopped down next to Yozaro, she liked Yozaro and saw her as her only friend.
As morning arose, Akari woke up and noticed Kage was gone "Mom, mom Kage is gone" she said looking at Lightpaw. Lightpaw lifted her head, Nikumu did as well. "I'll have to find her, I’ll be back soon." Said Nikumu and ran off. a couple hours later Nikumu came across the abandon building and it had Kage’s scent on it, he went inside and saw a board with names he saw Kage’s name and he picked the pencil in his mouth and wrote his name next to Kage’s, setting him up to fight against her. When they called Kage’s name she hopped up onto the ring, then they called Nikumu's name and he hopped up in front of her. "Come home Kage, your mom sister and myself miss you." said Nikumu "I’m not coming home!" yelled Kage and lunged at Nikumu, Nikumu grabbed her neck and held her down. "Don't try it Kage, you will never beat me" he said and threw her to the wall, Kage got up and shook and lunged again. Nikumu took his paw and scratched her, he left a scar across Kage’s eye Kage growled and jumped at Nikumu, Nikumu held her down by the neck long enough, Nikumu beat Kage. Kage was mad and ran back to her den Nikumu started walking home.
Meanwhile, Akari sat with Lightpaw. "Mom, is it ok if I lived somewhere else?" asked Akari "Where are you planning on going sweetie?" asked Lightpaw. "The humans over there I want to live as a dog" said Akari. Lightpaw smiled if you wish sweetie, remember we love you" Lightpaw said and licked her. Akari smiled, hugged Lightpaw and ran toward the fence. "I love you and I will be ba-" she didn't finish before she ran face first into a tree, she got up and ran around it over the fence. Lightpaw smiled and giggled a little.
