Okay, so some of you may already know this, but I made a poem for a contest that my online school is holding. The theme I'm supposed to do is about Animals, so I wrote a poem about a wolf. I've yet to enter the poem into the contest, though, because I haven't had anyone read over it yet to check for mistakes. If there's any mistakes, then please tell me what should be corrected. Anyhow, here's the poem:
Under the moonlight and the starlight,
runs a wolf; silently yet so swiftly,
wild but yet free.
As the ground meets her paws,
she never meets a single flaw.
Yet stopping at a cliff,
she takes a moment to sniff,
and soon singing her tune,
as she howls by the moon.

Write more or another poem ooooooor!
Get stalked by me until you write more. You choose. LOL love you Mewdow! Damn good poem! Anyway I don't see anything that needs fixing or changing except for maybe instead of saying "by the moon" you could say "at the moon"?

LOL Thanks, Spotted. I can post some of my older poems here if you want me to.
Anyhow, the poem did get entered into the contest, however, a few things were added and taken out on the way. What I first posted was the original version of the poem. Now here's the edited version:

Your poem is absolutely awesome! I hope you make more poems. I would make a thread of my poems and stories but I have no idea if I am allowed. But keep practicing at poetry.  |

Thanks! I have written a few other poems after this one, but I haven't written as much poetry as I used to. I want to get back to writing again, but I don't just want to do poetry. Also, why not? Of course you're allowed to do so! I'd love to see your poems/stories.  |
