In-Game Moderator Application Form
PART I - Things About You
Username (Forum and In-game): buggerbug50 for both.
Gender: Female.
Age: Thirteen.
What is your timezone?: North American Eastern Time Zone
How active are you?: I can be on at least one hour every day, unless of course something comes up. But I can be extremely active.
How many servers do you currently work for?: Currently none, but if a particular server gets a host then I will be an admin for one. However that does not mean I will just ditch all servers.
Do you have Skype? If so, please include your username (If you don't have one you'll be asked to make one): buggerbug51
Have you read the rules?: Yes
Do you agree to the rules?: Yes
Do you understand if you are not chosen?: Absolutely.
PART II - Short Answer
[/center]
How can you help improve the community in-game-wise?: I can help those that need it, however I will not spawn items for them.
Do you know any commands in-game?: A few, but I'm willing to learn them all.
What must a in-game moderator know?: An in-game moderator should know not to give out rare items. However, with this server there seems to be an exception. So they should know not to cuss everybody out, not to rage on somebody, and to try and understand a problem.
Why should we choose you as a in-game moderator?: To be honest nobody has given me a chance, but I have been co-owner, Admin, and Moderator for various minecraft servers. Sure people can be a bit crazy, but aren't we all? I guess I have some experience in the field.
Have you had any past experience with I.T. servers?: Yes, I have played on LastMoon, and ImpressiveWorld.
PART III - Descriptive Answers
(You are a member in this situation)
You are roaming around Skaiya and enter a map. Suddenly, you see many Draw Points running around the map (a map that doesn't spawn things), with a user attacking them. How to you react and what do you do?:
I take a snapshot, and ask them how the draw points had come to be there. If they say a staff member spawned them, or that they found them, then I will send the picture to one of the staff members. If one of the staff happen to be on then I will ask them to come and take a look.
(You are a in-game moderator in this situation)
When in-game, a member runs up to you claiming that someone stole their item. What do you do and how do you react?:
I ask them if they had gotten a snapshot to help prove this. Then I would ask if they were trading, and if they were in another dimension. If not then I tell them we can't help that very much, and that its unfortunate. But I might give them a tip to what creature drops the item more often. But if they were in another dimension I would proceed to get an answer from 'the thief', if I do find out they've stolen I ask them to give it back. If they say have not stolen, then I will need proof from both sides. From there I would decide who's lying and who's not.
(You are a in-game moderator in this situation)
Your best friend tells you they have edited some files without permission (example would be cd1 or cd2). They offer to give you the customized files, and tell you how to customize the game without permission like they had. What do you do and how do you react?:
I will be surprised and tell them that its not allowed. I would say that they MUST change the files back that instant or else I will be forced to ban them for an amount of time. I would also take a snapshot of them saying this as proof, however I would tell a higher staff how they did this and they could improve the files.
(You are a in-game moderator in this situation)
An argument as broken out among staff about one of them not only hacking, but banning and kicking users unfairly. What do you do in this situation and how would you react?:
I would ask everybody to calm down, and that they should bring the hacker down to a trainee AFTER they have been demoted completely for a week or so. In which case we could all decide upon if they deserve the rank again.
You're done!
Is there anything you would like to include or ask the staff?:
Not really, but I'm fairly easy to get to know. All it really takes is a conversation.
